Artist by hobby, social worker by profession, full-time mother of two precious girls by love, and business owner by day.

A number of things inspire artists... for me it is two, Dannah and Shara.

Dannah is credited for the company name --- Animooz. Before she was even one year old she was an animal expert, reciting animal sounds and gestures. As she grew, so did her repertoire of animal sounds that she performed. Her adorable pronunciation of animals as “animooz” was a pronunciation we chose not to correct. Her child-like love of animals led to many visits to the Central Park, Van Saun and Bronx Zoo and to every pet store she saw. She had a collection of animal books, toys, and videos - it was up to me to create the original, fun, yet fashionable animal clothing. A natural model, others wanted what Dannah wore.

Enters Steven, my entrepreneur husband and fan. He is credited with transforming my original works into superior quality “artwear” for your child... durable enough for our almost four year old on the move, and comfy enough for infants.

Shara, our infant, is credited for my newest passion; ensuring a line that includes sibling coordinates... characters, colors, and styles for all your youngest family members.
